William Larry Benefield Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1947 - 2010 Funeral Services for William Larry Benefield, 62, of Buna will be 11:00 am Monday, October 25, 2010 at Central Baptist Church in Evadale under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will begin 5:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Benefield died October 21, 2010 at Baptist Hospital. He was a native of Florida and resident of Buna. Mr. Benefield was a retired mechanic from Hopkins Olds, GMC. Survivors include wife Linda Benefield of Buna; three sons William 'Buddy' and wife Cheryl Benefield of Colorado Springs, Clayton and wife Charlotte Benefield of Buna and Dakota Benefield and fiancé Ashley Eddings of Buna; two daughters Angela Commander of Greenwood Fl., and Amy Benefield of Buna, Tx.; two brothers Carroll and wife Linda Benefield of Cottondale, Fl., and Sammy and wife Louise Benefield of Jacksonville, Fl.; six sisters Ida and husband Jim Coley of Round Lake, Fl., Pat and husband Virgil Bailey of Chipley, Fl., Dorothy Sizemore of Compass Lake, Fl., Kathy McRoy of Chipley, Fl., Brenda Osborne of Round Lake, Fl., and Vickie Childs of Buna, Tx.; grandchildren Matthew Benefield, Andrew Benefield, Daryen Commander, Tanya Benefield, Tyler Benefield, Christian Creader, Heaven Creader, Will Benefield, Hunter Benefield and Aiden Page.

for those of you who dont no my grandpa he was and honest loving man who taught me everything i now he was one of the best fishereman i have ever known well ill see him one day in them pearly gates and i no hes up there missing me cus i shure no im missing him i dont no if heel be hering me right now but im just sayin it want be the same this summer without u his loving grandson Tyler Benefield

Sammy, Louise, Kayla and family, My heart sinks as I realize what you are going through now, but remember that the Good Shepard has already taken this lamb home to a much greener pasture.
