Our sincerest condolences to the family. Gordie was a wonderful man who cared deeply for his family. We visited with him a number of times regarding genealogy of the Smart surname. He was a cousin and shared memories and stories of our ancestors/relatives. He will be missed. We hope his genealogy materials will be placed in a suitable library so others may benefit from his years of hard work and dedication to his research. It was late Sunday night before we heard the news and I (Donald) have to leave town on business early Monday morning so I will be unable to pay respects in person. Please know that the family is in our prayers for peace and comfort. Again, our sympathy is with you. Respectfully, Donald D. and Darlene Smart
