1922 - 2010
 Lavelle (Alexander) Gray passed away on Monday, November 15, 2010 at her residence in Silsbee. She was a native of Silsbee, Texas born December 21, 1922, the fifth child of Ida Ann (Gore) and Emmett Alexander.
She is survived by one son, John Emmett (Virginia) Gray, and two daughters, Ida Lee (Charles) Risinger and Anelle (Cliff) Compton, all of Silsbee; eight grandchildren, Gregg E. Gray, Johnny Edward Risinger, Audra Jean Payton, Brandi Anelle Compton, Clint Anderson Gray, Charlotte Lee Finch, Clifton Wayne Compton and Lucinda Ann Welch; 16 great-grandchildren and one sister/niece, Mildred Opal Williams of Pharr, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Johnie Robert Gray; her parents, Ida Ann (Gore) and Emmett Alexander; all of her siblings, Mary Lou Hargraves, Herbert Alexander, James Birdus (Buck) Alexander, Leola Bean and Carrie Lavae Sheppard; and one great-granddaughter, Melody Hope Risinger.
Funeral services will be 10am Thursday, November 18, 2010 at R.S. Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Cunningham Cemetery. Visitation will begin 5pm Wednesday November 17, 2010 at the funeral home.

Annelle/Cliff & Family; Ida Lee & family;John & Family: Just read about you all's Mother Lavelle on the internet..I just loved her.I was always glad to see her and talk with her. She was so kind & loving and always called me "Eddie Roe".
