Big John was my very best friend. He was such a great friend words cannot explain how great he was.I love him and will miss him till my dying day.I think of him daily and remember all the fun we had and all he taught me.

My grandfather was an amazing person I loved him dearly he was a person who loved to go to church and loved his family he would not dare talk about anyone unless he said it about himself he had an inspirational light that he gave off to everyone when he left and i wish that he could have stayed a little longer but god wanted him so he took him.

Virginia and family. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of John. He was a good man, one that loved the Lord. I remember when he would come by and see mom and dad(Glenn & Bertie) he never failed to talk to them about the Lord. John held a special place in our hearts. I know he is rejoicing in heaven right now with his mom and my grandmother (Ida) and others of our family. I pray that God will send his Holy Spirit to give you comfort today and the days ahead. We will keep y'all in our prayers. Sorry dad couldn't be there but he was very sick.

We were so sorry to hear about John. We love you all very much and want you to know that we are praying for you during this difficult time. John was a wonderful person that we have known for 35 years. Randal loved him very much. I remember all the fun times we had together in our early years of marriage with you and all of the other couples that were in our Training Union class at Good Shepherd.
