Sandy, I just learned about Susan. I am so sorry for your loss. She truly was one of the nicest people I have ever met. I don't believe she had a bad thing to say about anything or anyone. Always a positive outlook on life. If only the rest of us could be like that, I believe this world would be a much nicer place. You and your family will be in my prayers. Today, I received the news of Susan's illness and passing. I worked with her at St Elizabeth many years ago, but always visited with her when I had the opportunity. I am deeply saddened to know that I will not see her kind face nor hear her sweet voice when I peep into the admitting office...May God grant peace and comfort to all of you in your time of grief...

I am Ronnie's mom and I want to thank those of you who wrote in for Susan's Memorial. Susan was so loved by me, my husband and Cory...We will miss her so very, very much and I want to tell her sister Sandy that your sister was loved by the Bruce family so very much hon and we will miss her every day. She made Ronnie so very happy and we loved her for that Sandy.

We haven't met Ronnie, I'm a friend of your mother, but although I'm way over here in England my sadness for you is real. I know how much love your mom and your family have for Susan, and how happy you mom is that she shared her life with you.
Nothing anyone says will ease your grief just now, but I feel this verse will sum up words that Susan would say to you if she could. It was from an old, old movie, Carve Her name with Pride, and though simple it speaks volumes. God love you.

Ronnie I am so sorry for your loss. I know that it is hard to find a true soal mate in our life time but I truly feel you found yours. Know that God has everything already planned out for our lives and tho we do not always understand he knows what he is doing. Find comfort in knowingthat Susan was dearly loved and is no longer in pain. I love you and will always be here for you.

Ronnie, we are greatly saddened to hear from Kenny that you lost your precious wife. Our words of sadness can not help much but rest assured you will be in our prayers and thoughts. I know that we often think that life is so unfair, especially when we loose a loved one so close to us. All I know is that we all belong to God and that He has a divine purpose for everything, even if we don't understand at the time. I worked w/Susan she was such a very special lady my husband got to know her as the many times he had to come to the hospital she always made him feel better. SHE WILL TRUELY BE MISSED!!!!
