Esther Viola Davis, 97, of Silsbee, died December 24, 2010 at Silsbee Convalescent Center. Mrs. Davis was a resident of Hotel Beaumont for four years before moving to Silsbee.
A native of Ovette, Mississippi, Mrs. Davis was a long time resident of Silsbee. She worked as a supervisor of the NASA Space Center cafeteria before retiring.
Survivors include her daughter, Judith Jackson and husband Raleigh of Silsbee; sons, John Davis and wife Signe of Seattle, WA and Bill Davis and wife Aeron of Nevada City, CA; sister Marjorie Walters of Laurel, MS; brother Billy Trigg of Mineola, TX; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
