Sandy was a wonderful friend and always a pleasure to spend time with. Patty and I made several trips with her to San Antonio, Austin, Dallas and New Orleans over the years. She brought a unique way of looking at life we always enjoyed. She always had a good ear to listen and and was always ready with her own brand of loving advice. We both loved her and will miss her terribly. I think whoever had the pleasure to spend time with Sandy was greatly blessed by their time they shared. Karl may wonder who that bald guy was that gave him a big hug. After you spoke, I heard Sandy whisper in my ear "someone needs to give him a big HUG"

My prayers are with all of you. She was such a wonderful person. We road the bus together. I lived just down the road around the corner next to the Lassiters. When I came home for the Class Reunion in September, I drove by your house and wondered how she was doing (this was before I found out she was sick). If I had know I would have definitely stopped by.

For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
Sandy is now resting in the arms of Jesus.
I will always love and remember my cousin, my friend, Sandy.
I'll miss her saying, "Hey Girl". I'll cherish our childhood summers in Texas and our Mississippi memories.
Rest in Peace. Dianne

I also went to school with Sandra but she was a grade ahead of me. Sandra was a friend to all and had a great smile and a distict voice. We always knew when she was around. Sweet person who has received the best blessing of moving on to Heaven. My sympathy goes out to her family.

Sandra was a very good friend in high school. We were in a group that all had nicknames. Mine was Boogie, Debra Langley's was Bubbles and Sandra wanted to be called Cannonball. Loved her so much and will always remember her. Love you Sandra

Sandra was my good friend in high school--I always liked her and enjoyed her friendly, good hearted outlook on life. I am saddened to know that we won't see her in this life again, but rejoice for her in the thought that she is in paradise. My condolences to the family in your time of loss.

Aunt Johni I am so sorry about Sandra's passing. Our family's have always been close through the years even though the time and distance has been there we could always count on us being there for each other. The bond will never be broken. I know Sandra fought a grand fight and she will be missed so much. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and if you need anything I think you know to just pick the phone up and I will be there. I love all of you very much and Im here for you. I will see you soon.

Our deepest sympathy to the Shawver family. Sandra was a dear friend, neighbor and classmate. She told me a few months ago that God would heal her one way or the other; either with a new body or angel wings. God Bless you all.
