Ollie Eugene PikeFuneral services for Ollie Eugene Pike, 80, of Lumberton and previously of Silsbee, will be 10:00 AM Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Pike died March 9, 2011 at Harbor Hospital in Beaumont.

A native of Newton, Ollie was a long time Silsbee resident before moving to Lumberton. He was a member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church and retired as shop manager from Kirby Lumber Company. Before working at Kirby, Ollie retired from the US Air Force, proudly serving his country in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. Mr. Pike was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite and a member of the Masonic lodge for 50 years.

Mr. Pike is preceded in death by his wife Bobbie Pike and son Reverend Randal Pike. Survivors include sons, Michael Pike of Jasper, Bill Pike of Lumberton and Paul Pike of Village Mills; brothers Vernon Pike of Silsbee and James Pike of Sealy; sister Frankie Glenn of Huntsville; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
