Dorothy Jackson Spears Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1931 - 2011 Funeral services for Dorothy Jackson Cain Spears, 80, of Silsbee, will be 2:00 pm Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Spears died March 28, 2011 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Shepherd, Dorothy was a long time resident of Silsbee. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Spears was preceded in death by her husband James Spears and son James Anthony Spears. Survivors include her daughter Linda Herrington of Silsbee; sons Johnny Spears of Fred and Jeffery Spears of Buna and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Aunt Ann, Maddie and I visited her on March 19th and had a good visit. She always had a great sense of humor and the warmest heart. I will miss her.
