Funeral services for Yvonne Lindsey, 76, of Fred, Texas will be 2:00pm Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Oak Grove Harvest Assembly of God church in Fred, with interment following in Franks Branch Cemetery, also in Fred.
Visitation will begin 5:00pm Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at the Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lindsey died April 3, 2011 at Harbor Hospital of South East Texas.
Mrs. Lindsey was a native of Shelbyville, Tx and a resident of Fred for 17 years.
She is survived by sons Ronald Pipps and wife Cindy of Vidor and Michael Pipps of Lumberton; daughters Ann Pipps-McNeely and husband Danny of Warren, Elisha Pipps of Phoenix, Arizona, Leslie Pipps of Beaumont and two step-daughters, Kim and Kelly Lindsey; brother Roy Pearce of Winnie; eight grandchildren, Missy Jill, Bubba, Craig, Hannah, Kacey, Emily, Nathan and Elliot and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Bill Lindsey and his daughter Carrie; and her two sisters, Betty and Velma; and her brother, Hubert Pearce.
Yvonne loved gardening, caring for her family, fishing and boating, cooking for family and friends and attending church.
She was a very loving Mother and Grand-Mother.
