Funeral services for Seymour Lyle Bowen, 87, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Friday, April 8, 2011 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in R S Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Bowen died April 5, 2011 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
A native of Clarkston, MI, Mr. Bowen was a long time resident of Silsbee. He was an ordained minister and a stock foreman for General Motors before retiring.
Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Marie Catherine Bell Bowen of Silsbee; sons Terry Lee Bowen, Gerald Thomas Bowen and Michael Lorne Bowen, all of Silsbee; daughters Donna Marie Wood of Vidor and Karen Elaine Walton of Attica, MI; brother Albert Bowen of Pontiac, MI; nine grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and fourteen great, great grandchildren.
