Mattie Frances Jones Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1921 - 2011 Funeral services for Mattie Frances Jones, 89, of Silsbee will be 2:00pm Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Franks Branch Cemetery. Visitation will begin 5pm Friday, April 29, 2011 at the funeral home. Mrs. Jones died April 27, 2011 at Silsbee Oaks Health Care in Silsbee. She is preceded in death by husband Clarence T. Jones and three sons. Survivors include three grandchildren Timothy Jones, Steven Jones and Jeffrey Jones.

My condolences to the family and friends of Mattie Jones. I met Mattie when she lived at the Pine Club apartments in Beaumont and she called 911 for medical assistance and I responded with the Beaumont Fire Department. So blessed to have met her. She had such a kind spirit and we kept in touch with each other for a while. Regret that I did not stay in touch much when she moved to Silsbee. Will always have special memories of such a godly and faithful lady who so easily shared her faith in Jesus. I know where her new eternal dwelling place is and know that she is at peace.
