John Conrad Dodd, 83 of Lumberton died May 14, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
John was a native of Louann, Arkansas and a long time Lumberton resident. He proudly served his country during WWII in the Navy and was a retired, self employed carpenter.
Visitation will be 6 pm to 9 pm Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Farmer Funeral Home.
John is preceded in death by his mother and father Doyle C. Dodd and Mary A. Dodd; wife Mary Boyce Dodd and daughters Mary Pauline Stokes and Marilyn B. Sanders.
Survivors include sons Anthony E. Carter and wife Elma of Maleno, James F. Carter and wife Laurie of Liberty, William K. Dodd and wife Elizabeth of Waco, Mark D. Dodd and wife Teresa of Ft. Worth and Darrel C. Sisson and wife Ida of Houston; daughters Linda Kay Tyler and husband Herman of Splendora and Danielle Stiegent and husband Harry of Houston; brothers Jerry W. Dodd of Lumberton and Ronald Dodd of Pasadena; sisters Mary Ireland of Beaumont, Twyla Gardner of Kingwood, Patsy Morgan of Conroe, Linda Johnson of Pasadena and Barbara Mechelle of Deer Park; and fourteen grandchildren.
