Services will be held for George Lee Johnson, 80, at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 30, 2011 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee, Texas with Bro. Larry Hargraves officiating. Burial will follow at Morse Cemetery in Buna.
George was born April 12, 1931 and went to be with the Lord on May 25, 2011. He served in the U. S. Army for 10 years and held the rank of Sergeant. He began his lifetime career as a truck driver while in the army and was currently also a truck safety supervisor and is now continuing his journey driving on the streets of gold.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Sarah Grace Johnson, son and daughter in law George W. & Valerie Johnson, daughter and son in law Jackie L. and Roger Walker, daughter and son in law Peggy M. and James Story, grandchildren Rex Johnson, Jimmy Johnson, Glyn Walker, Christopher Walker, Anthony Walker, Nathan Walker, Micheal Story and Nichole Story and their families, nine great grandchildren, his sister Jane Smith and family and many other relatives and friends.
