Funeral services for Nedia Joyce Hooker, 53, of Evadale, will be 2:00 pm Friday, June 3, 2011 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Morse Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hooker died May 31, 2011 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
A native of Liberty, Nedia was a long time resident of Evadale. She was a clerk at Walmart before becoming disabled.
Survivors include her husband Mike Hooker of Evadale; parents Johnny and Marie Whitmire of Evadale; daughter Lacey Brown and husband Kevin of Lumberton; sister Betty Whitmire of Evadale; brother John Whitmire of Evadale; brother-in-law Bobby Smith of Evadale and two grandchildren, Hunter Brown and Jalyn Brown.
