Charlotte (Charlie) Ruth OQuinn, 66, of Silsbee passed away on June 7, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Charlie was born Oct 23, 1944 in Newport, Kentucky to Garth and Lucille Lakes and had lived in Silsbee more than 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Steve OQuinn; daughters Melinda (Marty) Warren, Misty OQuinn, both of Silsbee and Tammy ( Glenn) Moore of Cleburne; grandchildren Shelby Helms, Mitchell Warren, Kateland Warren, Chelsie Moore, Shawn Moore, Steven OQuinn and Jasmin OQuinn; brothers-in-law Joey (Shelia) OQuinn and Simon (Nancy) OQuinn; sisters-in-law Josephine Crain, Mildred (Richard) Cox, Margaret Wilkerson all of Silsbee and Ruby (Jimmy) Gore of Spurger, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wed., June 8, from 5-9 p.m.Funeral services will be held on Thurs., June 9 at 2 p. m. at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial to follow at Cunningham Cemetery.
