
Henry Lee Ellison, 68, of Pine Ridge went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 20, 2011 at Harbor Hospice. He was born in Beaumont on October 18, 1942 to John Henry Ellison and Velma Elizabeth (Ransom) Ellison. He graduated from French High School.
Mr. Ellison was a retired maintenance Supervisor from the Texas Highway Department in Beaumont with 30 years' service.
He is preceded in death by his parents John Henry Ellison and Velma Elizabeth Ellison; brothers Chester Ellison, Edgar Ellison, Jimmy Ellison and Danny Ellison; sisters Ada Katherine Jordan, Anne Ellison, Octavia Marsengill and Ruth Moye.
Survivors include wife Marilyn Ellison of Pine Ridge; daughter Rose Outlaw and husband Ronnie of Lumberton; daughter Paula Miller of Tampa Florida; son-in-law Les Miller of Tampa Florida; son Malcolm Ellison and wife Amy of Bastrop Louisiana; grandchildren include; Charis Outlaw, Jonathan Outlaw and David Outlaw all of Lumberton, Sarah Miller and Kyle Miller of Tampa Florida, Carter Ellison and Emma Ellison of Bastrop Louisiana.
Mr. Ellison is also survived by a host of nephews, nieces, in-laws and cousins.
Funeral services will be 10:00am, Friday, June 24, 2011 at Pine Ridge Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers will be from the Texas Highway Department Maintenance Division and Ken Pelt.
A gathering of friends and family will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Thursday June 23, 2011 at the church.
