Funeral services for Joshua William 'Jay' Brazeale, 82, of Kountze will be 11:00 AM, Friday, July 1, 2011 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Brazeale died June 28, 2011 at his residence.
A native of Camden, AR, Jay was a long time resident of this area. He was a retired composer with the Beaumont Enterprise.
Survivors include his daughters, Brenda Conway of Vidor and Phyllis Richardson of Lumberton; son Ricky Brazeale of Hardin; best friend David Lassiter of Kountze; grandchildren Amber Conway, Kayla Conway, Jacob Richardson, Caleb Richardson, Joely Richardson, Lindsay Brazeale and Hayley Brazeale and three great grandchildren.
