Funeral services for Marlene Wilson Bolar, 75, of Silsbee, will be 2:00 pm Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Cunningham Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bolar died July 20, 2011 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Marlene was born October 19, 1935 in Mason County, KY. She lived many years in West Union, OH before moving to her son's home in Silsbee five years ago. She was a homemaker, but had worked at the 125 Grill as a cook in the past.
Mrs. Bolar was preceded in death by her parents Ira and Mary Lou Wilson; brothers Worder, Bud and Billy Wilson; son Billy Ray Bolar, daughter Patricia Ann Bolar and two grandchildren, Anthony Stephenson and Jason Alwell.
Marlene is survived by daughters, Karen Stephenson of West Union, OH and Rosemary Bolar of Silsbee; sons Edward Thomas Bolar and wife Brenda of Silsbee, Michael Eugene Bolar of Dixon, MO and Robert Wayne Bolar of West Union, OH; sisters Doris, Irene and Louise; step-brother Sonny and wife Claire; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren
