 Funeral services for Diana Lee Dancer Probst, 64, of Kountze will be 2:00 PM Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in R S Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Probst died August 4, 2011 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
A native of Southgate, CA, Diana was a longtime resident of Kountze. She was an accountant, retiring from Murel's Supply in Lumberton.
Survivors include her husband, Fred Probst of Kountze; daughter Paula Booker of Lumberton; son Brian Probst of Lumberton; mother Naomi R. Dancer of Evansville, IN; sisters Carol Frey of Evansville, IN and Joy Atkins of Gray, TN; brothers Larry Dancer of Whittier, CA and Adin Dancer of Kingsport, TN; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an account at Compass Bank for benefit of Diana Probst. |

Paula & Family, we are so sorry for you loss of your wonderful mother and friend. Louis always spoke very highly of your mom. I only met her a couple of times, but I thought she was quite the character and quite a lovely lady.. May God Bless you and your family and hold you in his arms during this difficult time.

Dear Aunt Naomi and Family,
I was so sorry to hear about DeDe today from Gene. Sherry had mentioned something to us at my Dad's visitation night and we know this is a difficult time. DeDe was such a wonderful friend to my mother that my mother always spoke so highly of all of your children. I will not be able to attend the services as I am in the Austin area of Texas, but know my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
