A graveside service for Roy Lawrence Bridges, 83, of Silsbee will be 6:00 pm Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Resthaven Cemetery under the arrangement of Farmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Bridges died August 8, 2011 at his residence.
Roy was a native of Silsbee and had lived there most of his life. He was a platform engineer and retired from Odeco Drilling after many years of service.
Survivors include his wife Inger Bridges of Silsbee; daughter Pam Hardy and husband Doug of Rosevine; son Randy Bridges and wife Cecily of Lake Sam Rayburn; Goddaughter Kari Ellen Kennedy of Lumberton; sister Jo Ann Pate of Houston; grandchildren Stacee Barnett and Kellee Horn, both of Hemphill; Jamee Miller, Kandace Frick and Kris Hardy, all of Pineland and twelve great grandchildren.
