Graveside services for Bob Allen Essary, Sr., 66, for Spurger will be 4:00 pm Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Cunningham Cemetery under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Sunday at the residence of Billy Wilson, CR 4915 in Fred.
Mr. Essary died August 19, 2011 at his residence in Spurger.
Bob was a native and longtime resident of Fred. He was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include wife Loretta Gale Essary of Spurger; daughters Regina Loftin of Florence, AL and Laurann "LuLu" Karnes of Spurger; sons Bob Allen "Bubba" Essary, Jr., Leonard Essary and Paul Essary all of Spurger; sisters Imogene McKinney of Splendora, Maudell Wells of Lufkin, Pauline Elkins of San Angelo, Grace Jackson and Evelyn Cruse both of Abilene; brothers Eugene Essary of Houston and Gerald Essary of Gorman, TX.; twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
