Dear Sondra, I am so sorry that I couldn't make it to the funeral today with Wayne and Dad. Gene was my favorite uncle and I will always remember that big smile he always had on his face.

Tommy, I remember you Dad from our days in Royal Ambassators @ PineCrest. He was such a great role model. I still remember some of the thing he taught us. As I remember, he always had a smile on his face.I know he is in a better place and is rejoicing in the presence of God.

Funeral services for Thomas Eugene "Gene" Jasper, Sr., 83, of Silsbee will be 10:00 am Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Silsbee under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
