William Jerry 'Dub' McNeel, Sr. Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1923 - 2011 William 'Dub' Jerry McNeel, Jr. was born December 22, 1923 in Beaumont, Tx to the late William Jerry McNeel, Sr and Hazel Fritz McNeel. Dub passed away peacefully August 23, 2011 at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont at the age of 87. Dub graduated from South Park High School in 1941. He was very proud to belong to the IBFW Local Union 479 as an active and inactive member for 67 years. Dub is preceded in death by his parents William Sr. and Hazel, two sisters Hazel Lee McNeel and Doris Fritz Purvis, daughter Cindy Harrington and granddaughter Kimberly Broussard and wife Gracie Gooch McNeel. Survivors include one sister Glorius Joyce Middlebrook, son Brad McNeel, Sr. and wife Harvilynne of Lumberton, grandchildren Brad McNeel, Jr. and wife Michelle of Allen, Tx. Ashli Stouall and husband Mark of Beaumont, Tx. and Kyle Broussard of Kountze, Tx.: great grandson Cooper Lane Stovall of Beaumont; two step daughters Lena Teague and husband Thomas of McKinney, Tx. and Vicki Musick; step son Tony Dattalo and also numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren Services will be held 10:00am Friday, August 26, 2011 at R.S. Farmer Funeral Home, Inc with interment following at Resthaven cemetery in Silsbee.

Brad i am sorry for the loss of your dad. i am sorry i did not come to the funeral home or the funeral. I just lost my youngest daughter on the 13th and i am having a hard time with it. iknow she is in a much better place but it is still hard. I hope all of you are doing ok. you are in my prayers.
