Funeral services for Mary Carolyn Goodwyn Donalson, 91, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Sunday, September 18, 2011 at First United Methodist Church of Silsbee with interment following in R S Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Saturday at Farmer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Donalson died September 15, 2011 at her residence.
A native and lifelong resident of Silsbee, Carolyn was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Donalson was preceded in death by her husband J D Donalson and son Jerry Donalson.
Survivors include her son Drew Donalson and wife Alyson of Silsbee; daughter Sheila Gralino and husband B J of Fort Worth; daughter-in-law Becky Donalson of Houston; grandchildren Amy Steinbarth of Chicago, Lesley Gralino of Dallas, Hillary Gralino of Fort Worth, Alex Donalson of Bandera, Holly Shirley of The Woodlands, Lauren Donalson of Houston, Blair Donalson of Fort Worth, Heath Donalson and Erin Donalson, both of Silsbee; ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members. |

My prayers and condolences to Sheila, Drew and all the extended family. Mrs. Donalson was one of my oldest family friends. I remember her from before attending first grade with Shelia. The childhood memories will always bring a smile to my face. I hope all who knew her will have pleasant memories, also.
