James Wesley  Clark, Jr.Funeral services for James "Cecil" "Popeye" "PeeWee" Wesley Clark, Jr., 86, of Port Neches will be 3:00 pm Saturday, October 1, 21011 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Burial will be at Gore Cemetery in Silsbee. Visitation will be from 5pm to 8pm Friday at the funeral home.

Cecil died on his 86th birthday, Tuesday September 27th at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was a native of Silsbee but lived most of his life in Port Acres. He served his country in the United States Merchant Marines during WWII and retired after 48yrs with Sabine Towing and Transportation Company in Port Arthur.

Cecil was preceded in death by his father James Wesley Clark, Sr., mother Lola Sirmons and three brothers, Floyd H. "Daddy Floyd" Clark, Odis "PeeWee" Clark and Jerry "Dick" Clark.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Alice Mae Clark of Port Acres, daughter, Claudia Harper and husband Lynard of Warren, stepson James Bandeaux of Moss Bluff, Louisiana, grandchildren, Stephanie Cook, Jerry Bandeaux, Tina Gribble, Tammy Cline, Timothy Bandeaux, Travis Bandeaux, Chad Bandeaux, Angela Harper and Scott Harper; seventeen great grandchildren and six great grandchildren including a special great grandson Taylor Wesley Cousins; brothers Joe Clark and William Clark both of Silsbee, Ernest Sirmons of Matagorda and Ray Sirmons of Liberty; sisters Tina Caperton of Three Rivers, California and Dorthy Eloise Dean of Vidor; numerous nieces and nephews and a special nephew Robert Clark and also a special companion "ReRe".

Uncle Cecil's smiling eyes, laughter, and corky jokes still make me smile today. He could not have left behind a more precious gift than the special memories he created in his life here on earth.

We were saddened to hear of Pee Wees passing. My husband & I both have know him since we were children. He was always upbeat & could always make you smile.. He will be missed Tamara & Michael Thomas
