Funeral services for Richard Clifford Counts, 78, of Fred, will be 3:00 pm Friday, September 30, 2011 at Wiley Mae Community Baptist Church with interment following in Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Thursday at Farmer Funeral Home.
Mr. Counts died September 27, 2011 at his residence.
A native of Vernonia, OR, he was a longtime resident of this area. Mr. Counts was a retired logger.
Survivors include his sons John Clifford Counts of Waco and Jon Hargroder of Fred; daughters Linda Pilcher of Bridge City and Kathy Counts of Vidor; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
