Funeral services for Ruthie Bryan Smith, 86, of Silsbee will be 2:00pm Thursday, November 10, 2011 at R.S. Farmer Funeral Home with internment following in Resthaven Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith died November 8, 2011 at her residence. She was a native of Veatch Texas and a long time resident of Silsbee.
She was a loving wife and mother who blessed this earth with her joyous soul.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband Howard C. Smith, Sr. and grandson Joshua Faulkenberry.
She is survived by two daughters, Marjorie Faulkenberry and Linda Ivey and her husband Louis of LaPorte Texas; one son Howard C. Smith, Jr. and his wife Beth of Charlotte N.C.; grandchildren Jennifer Ivey, Kevin Ivey and wife Misty, Kricket Wren and Karen Smith; great grandchildren Lucy Wren, Malichi Smith, Emma Ivey and Amy Ivey; one brother Bernice Bryan and one sister Annie Mae Gilchriest; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
