Funeral service for Jimmy Edward 'Sonic Jim' Allen, 69, of Kountze and formerly of Lumberton, will be 10:00 am Friday, November 18, 2011 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Allen died November 16, 2011 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
A native of Kountze, he lived most of his life in Lumberton. He was a loving son, brother and uncle.
Survivors include sisters, Clara Townsend of Lumberton and Pat Rhoden of Hemphill; brother Mike Allen of Lumberton; nephews Wayne Townsend and wife Christina of Kountze, Scott Townsend of Lumberton and Tommy Paul Rhoden of Kountze and niece Lynell Willoughby of Hemphill.
