Danny,
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember her with that warm smile that she always had. I pray that you and your family find peace and comfort, always knowing that she touched so many lives, and that we were the ones blessed to know her.

When Beverley and I first met,Operation Graduation for her son and my daughter's class was our common denominator. We stayed in touch and then cancer became our link.We became closer as our disease made us stonger, but our bodies weaker by side effects.
When my husband and I joined the Methodist church, there was Beverley standing up front with me.Our friendship deepened as her health deteriorated and she needed someone to talk to who might possibly understand her plight. We both understood that the cure for cancer can be as devastating as the disease. Cancer is a lonely disease. It can make you turn inward and try to endure on your own.Beverley gave thanks to God many times for the cures she was granted for her disease, but the side effects that ravaged her body took their toll.
I will miss our in depth conversations on health, family, grandchildren, students we shared, faith and so much more.Oh how I wish I could hear her say "I'm so glad to see you today because you can make me laugh, and I love to laugh"
You fought a valiant fight dear friend, now go rest high on the mountain.

My heart reaches out to you during this sad time. I was fortunate to be a friend & colleague of Bev's when we taught together at middle school; she truly cared & loved our students. She always had a kind word and smile. Bev will be missed, but not forgotten.
