I had a stroke in 2011 the only music I listened to was Billie Jo Spears and Lynn Anderson. She was a great lady and Billie Jo and Lynn helped me thru the darkest hours of my life. The doctors said I had a massive stroke and wouldn't talk, walk or have use of my arms. Thru their singing I can talk, walk and have use of my left arm. The power of singing and the words are healing. Now these great singer's are in heaven singing with the angels. God bless your family. Bren Muller

Billie, you were the best and I will miss you so much. I saw you live twice in England. The first time in Birmingham about 20 years ago when you wowed the audience. I took my wife and 9 year old daughter to see you again earlier this year in Tunbridge Wells. You were amazing. A crystal clear voice which raised the roof. I knew every word of every song and to actually get to meet you backstage was a wonderful experience. Thank you for your music and your long lasting legacy. RIP Billie, Love Eddie xxxxx

I was very saddened to hear of her passing. I always thought so much of her music. And I thought a great deal of her as a person. Although, I did not ever speak with her personally, I did have the advantage of being Mr. Leroy Spears' Student Aide at NHS in 1975. Which, was a wonderful experience for me! Mr. Spears and I talked a lot about Billie Jo, and it was always conveyed in a Happy and pleased manner regarding her success, and he conveyed himself to be a most loving and caring Brother. So, I was able to learn a lot from him. Best Wishes to all her family Members, and just please understand that she was loved, not just because of her wonderful music, but for Who she was as a person! Prayers for all. <3 +
