Graveside services for Gerald Calvin Davis, 82, of Kirbyville will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Davis Cemetery in Kirbyville.
Mr. Davis died January 1, 2012 at his residence.
Gerald was a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean conflict and a supervisor at Jasper Newton Electric, retiring after 43 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents Calvin and Mattie Holmes Davis and stepson William Wilson.
Survivors include wife Brenda Davis of Kirbyville; son Jerry Gardiner of Colton, CA; daughter Debbie Lasbey of Rio Alto, CA; step-daughter Molly Davis and Joey of Kirbyville; step-sons Elton Wilson and Stacy of Kirbyville, Bert Wilson and Stephanie of Benton, AR and Robert Wilson and Kim of Silsbee; step-daughter-in-law Brenda Wilson of Kirbyville; fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Elton Wilson, Robert Wilson, Bert Wilson, Charles Jones, Joey Davis and Dan Whitney. Honorary pallbearers will be Dylan Wilson, Jacob Wilson, Ryan Wilson and Zachary Davis.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mr. Davis may be made to Lakes Area Hospice, 254 Ethel St, Jasper TX 75951 or Gospel Lighthouse Church Scholarship Fund, Kirbyville, TX 75956.
