Funeral services for Walter Dudley Young, Jr., 87, of Evadale will be 1:00pm Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at R.S. Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Weeks Chapel Cemetery in Newton. Visitation will begin 5:00pm Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at the funeral home.
Mr. Young died January 30, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
He was a native of Silsbee and longtime resident of Evadale. Dudley was a previous owner of Young's Grocery Store and the Bottle Shop.
He was preceded in death by his children, Brenda Young and Charles Young.
Survivors include three sons, Brad Young of Silsbee, Richard Young of Carthage and Mark Young of Silsbee; six grandchildren, Vanessa, Courtney, Walter, Kimberly, Kristal and Amanda along with eight great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren. |

We are so sorry that Dudley has passed away. He was always such a nice man to us both. We know that you will miss him so much but know that he is dancing on the streets in Heaven. Dudley served a good life here. May God comfort your aching heart now and in the days ahead.
