Shirley Waters Scoby went to be with her Lord and her family on February 14, 2012. She was born on August 10, 1940 in the Chance community at the home of her parents William Bryan Waters and Eula Mae Pennington.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Herb Scoby, Jr., her daughter Debbie Cunningham, her parents and two older brothers-William Waters, Jr. and Cecil Waters.
She is survived by her stepdaughter Rhonda Scoby of Tyler.
Mrs. Scoby was a long-time resident of Lumberton and was a member of the Beaumont Elks Lodge No. 311.
Graveside services will be held 10:00am Friday February 17, 2012 at R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery in Silsbee under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to the Texas Elks Children's Camp of the Beaumont Elks Lodge No 311, P.O. Box 21757, Beaumont, Tx. 77720.
