Funeral services for Gladys Mae 'Granny' Vaught, 86, of Silsbee will be 10:00 am Saturday, February 25, 2012 at First Assembly of God Church with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at Farmer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Vaught died February 21, 2012 at Silsbee Oaks Health Care.
A native and lifelong resident of Silsbee, Granny was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include daughters Carolyn Hawthorne & husband Lenox and Rhonda Hinkie and husband Jay, all of Silsbee; five grandchildren, Lenox Hawthorne III, Amanda Hawthorne, Brad Hinkie, Todd Hinkie and Hillary Hinkie and six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the First Assembly of God Church in Silsbee.

Carolyn, Rhonda & family, we're so sorry about Aunt Gladys' passing. Just remember "to be absent from the body is to be present with The Lord."!!! Just think, she's running those Golden streets with Uncle Loral and all the family, with Jesus and before Almighty God Himself! She's whole and complete now. Prayers and love to all.
