I grew up on Cook's Lake Road. I stopped in at Burge's Store many times for a candy bar and a orange drink. That seemed so long ago.

Funeral services for Walter 'Sonny' Burge, 81, of Loeb will be 10:00 am Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Loeb-Leatherwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
