Funeral services for Mallie Dewayne Buckner, 41, of Spurger will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Fred under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Fred Community Cemetery.
Mr. Buckner died March 10, 2012 near Spurger.
A native of Enterprise, AL, Dewayne lived most of his life in Fred and Spurger. He worked as a carpenter in the construction business.
Survivors include his mother Sallie Burnett Buckner Adkerson and husband Steven of Fred; father Mallie Wayne Buckner and wife Judy of Sam Rayburn; son Zachary Cole Buckner of Fred; brother Stewart Wayne Buckner and wife Shauna of Fred; sister Lisa Fisher of Beaumont; grandparents Mallie and Faye Buckner of Spurger and Madge Dunaway of Spurger.
