Funeral services for Viola Crites, 73, of Silsbee will be 2:00pm Saturday, March 17, 2012 at R.S. Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery in Silsbee. Visitation will begin 5:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Crites died March 12, 2012.
Mrs. Crites was a native of Henderson and resident of Silsbee. She loved gardening, fishing, sewing, knitting, crocheting and many other hand crafts.
Mrs. Crites was preceded in death by husband of almost 50 years Jack Crites, parents Carl A. and Florence Evans and sister-in-law Becky Evans. Survivors include brother Carl Evans and wife Betty, sister Beatrice Watts, daughter Connie Cowart and husband John, sons Timothy Crites and wife Linda, Dennis (Ed) Crites and wife Tanya, Robert Crites and wife Rachael, Milford Crites and wife Delaney, Lennet Crites and wife Carole and Daniel Crites and wife Melanie; 22 grand children, seven great grandchildren with 3 special granddaughters, Danielle Chance, Jennifer Crites and Deenah Crites.
