Ella Mae Madeley Ella Mae Dozier Madeley was born on August 24, 1917 in Singer, Louisiana. She is the last of her generation of one brother, Phil Dozier and four sisters, Allene Dunlap, Melba Reed, Gladys Fruge and Irene Blankenship. She was 94 years old at the time she passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at 5:40 PM in Jacksonville, Florida.

Ella Mae was a member of the South Jacksonville Church of Christ. She has lived in Jacksonville, Florida for the past 17 years and was a former resident of the Beaumont, Texas area.

She married Milton H. Madeley, Sr on January 1, 1936. She lived her life with her husband, Milton Harold Madeley, Sr for 72 years. She was his faithful wife and companion. She was the mother of their three children.

Ella Mae is survived by her three children: son Milton Harold Madeley, Jr of New Iberia, Louisiana and two daughters, Patricia M. Ashley of Cabot, Arkansas and Linda M. Cooper of Jacksonville, Florida; eight grandchildren, Larry Madeley of Mobile, AL, Tamara Simpson of Flagstaff, AZ, Beth Morel of New Iberia, LA, Sharon Woodson of Maumelle, AR, Sherridon Dobbs of Grayson, GA, Shannon Wagner of Odessa, FL, Christina Dressel of Green Cove Springs, FL and Laura Roberts of Lynchburg, VA; twenty nine great grandchildren; one great, great grandson and numerous nephews and nieces.

The viewing will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at R S Farmer Funeral Home located at 415 North 4th Street in Silsbee, Texas. Their phone number is 409-385-2828. There will be a graveside service at the Village Mills Cemetery of Village Mills, Texas at 10:00 AM Friday, April 13, 2012.

Patricia, Linda and family, 94 years is a good run. Three children were blessed to have her as mother and the rest of of us were blessed to have known her. She was resurrected on Easter Sunday. What peace that must bring.
