Philip Luther LeRoy Scharber, 50, died May 20, 2012 in Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.

Services will be held 2:00pm Friday, May 25, 2012 at R.S. Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Scharber was a native of Kountze and resident of Silsbee.

Survivors include wife, Cindy Scharber; two sons, James Scharber and Robert Scharber both of Silsbee; parents, LeRoy and Barbara Scharber of Silsbee; one sister, Pam Sharp of Silsbee; one brother, Paul Scharber of Silsbee; nieces and nephews Sheena, Douglas, Brandi, Jessica and Wade all of Silsbee.

So sorry for your loss. I knew Phillip in high School. He was a great guy. I know your hearts are heavy and I pray that God gives you peace that passes all understanding in this difficult time.

Prayers for the Scharber families. I worked with Phillip a few years ago. He was a gentleman, an excellent cook and took pride in his work. RIP in Phillip
