Russell Joseph Chimera Click for Condolences      Printable Version Not Listed - 2012 Russell Joseph Chimera, born June 11, 1940 in Dunkirk, N.Y., passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 27, 2012 in Silsbee, Tx. He proudly served his country in the USAF from 1963-1969. Proud to be a 'Transplant Texan', Russell was known to his customers as 'The Snack Man' and to his closest friends as 'Guido'. Mr. Chimera was preceded in death by his parents and sister. Survivors include his wife Sylvia Rose; daughters, Donna Chimera, Lara Michel and husband Josh; son Christopher Chimera and wife Kelly; grandsons, Luca and Mason; step daughter Dawn White and husband Tom; step granddaughters, Autumn, Kaleigh and Paisley. Services will be held 3:00pm Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at R.S. Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee.

Sylvia I was so shocked to hear about Russell. I haven't seen you in awhile in Bealls. I didn't know he was sick. Take each day as it comes and God will guide you through this horrible time.

Russ was a friend for more than thirty years. I enjoyed the time and riding we did together. I will miss him dearly.
