Funeral services for Ernest Wayne Jenkins, 40, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Monday, June 4, 2012 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Cunningham Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Jenkins died May 31, 2012 in Saratoga.
A native and long time resident of Silsbee, Ernest worked as a truck driver for Murphys Swabbing.
Survivors include his wife Lois Jenkins of Silsbee; sons Kody Baker of Silsbee, Billy Baker of Huntsville, Robert Baker and wife Melissa of Silsbee and Mossie Eason and wife Ashley and daughter Elizabeth of Silsbee; daughters Puddie Bouse and husband Burt and their two sons, Matthew Bouse and William Bouse II, of Fred , Chloe Baker and Maranda Baker, both of Silsbee; father Curtis Jenkins of Silsbee; step-mom Vinia Gail Denmon Jenkins of Silsbee; brothers Ronnie Jenkins and wife Rose of Spurger and Donnie Jenkins and wife Hope of Spurger; sisters-in-law, Omalee Walker of Silsbee, Juanita Hutto of Silsbee, Linda Lee and husband Michael of Warren, Janie Jackson and husband Randy of Florida and brother-in-law Benny Gardner of Silsbee and niece Curry Avery and husband John of Silsbee. He is also survived by aunts and uncles Mary and Randall Colley of Spurger, Peggy and John Reid of Spurger, Alene and Billy Moncrief of Spurger, Harvey and Lisa Gore of Fred and Richard Gore of Spurger.
Ernest was preceded in death by his mother Harvey Nell Gore Jenkins; sister-in-law Hazel Gardner; brother-in-law Big John Eason and grandparents Dorothy and Harvey Gore and Allen and Avery Jenkins.
