Gloria, So sorry to hear of the loss of your Mother. We're certain, from the notes of those who knew her much better, that she was prepared and likely ready to go. Also certain she will be missed dearly by you and your sisters. Same in my family - we can't yet imagine not having our Mom but at 90 we know to be prepared. Keep in touch.

My prayers are with all of the many family members and friends that will miss her dearly. She was so loving and cared for us all. She was such an inspiration to me. She was an ANGEL on earth. She is no doubt in Heaven, waiting patiently to see us again.May God comfort us all as we will miss her so much!

This lady was one of the most beautiful people. Whenever there was a need for prayer, Mrs. Matthews was always there ready to have prayer with you. She loved mowing her own lawn but occasionally she would get behind and some of us would go and mow for her. She insisted on paying us but when we refused, she made the contribution to the ladies' Sunday School Class. The family and friends will miss her but heaven is a brighter place with her there. Our condolences to the family and we thank you for sharing your mom with us.
