Carlie Ancor, Sr. Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1934 - 2012 Funeral services for Carlie Ancor, Sr., 78, of Silsbee will be 10:00am Saturday, July 21, 2012 at R.S. Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Knupple Cemetery. Visitation will begin 5:00pm Friday, July 20, 2012 at the funeral home. Mr. Ancor died July 16, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. He was a native of Louisiana and resident of Silsbee. Survivors include wife Margaret Ancor of Silsbee, one son Carlie Ancor, Jr. of Denver, Colorado; one daughter Melanie James of Silsbee; one sister Mary Sartalamacchia of Pensacola, Florida; one brother Robert Ancor of La Place, Louisiana and two grandchildren, Blakley James of Silsbee and Hannah Ancor of Denver Colorado.

Mrs. Ancor, Carlie and Melanie, I am so sorry to hear this news. We found our two days after the service. Mr. Ancor has a special place in my heart. Last Christmas, we played a lot of cards with the family and I couldn't help but recall playing "Spades" with you all. I can still hear Mr. Ancor saying in his own special voice, "Everybody gotta heart." ...a precious memory... We will be thinking of you all during this time.
