
Funeral services for James Harrison Bingham Jr, 81, of Spurger, will be 2:00 pm Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Turner Branch Cemetery in Spurger. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Bingham died August 30, 2012 at Jasper Nursing and Rehab.
Mr. Bingham was a lifelong resident of Spurger. He retired from Temple Inland as a forester's helper and proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife Wanda Sue Levins Bingham of Spurger; son James Allen Bingham and wife Sheila of Silsbee; step-son Larry Keith Whitton of Mexia; daughters Ethel Denise Laurent and husband Herman of Spurger and Lisa Gay Richard and husband Todd of Spurger; sister Mary Frances Vinson of Natchez, MS; six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
