A memorial service for Jim Berry, 77, will be 2:00pm Sunday, September 30, 2012 at R.S. Farmer Funeral Home with Military detail. Visitation will be 5:00pm-8:00pm Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the funeral home.
Survivors include wife, Belenda Berry of Silsbee; two sons, James 'Bubba' Berry, Jr. of Silsbee and Terry Berry of Beaumont; four daughters, Debra Newell, Jeanie Moncrief, Janie Hayes and Amanda Beard all of Silsbee; brothers, Butch Koontz of Ohio and Donald Koontz of Houston; sister, Betty Hester of Channel View and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Our hearts are saddened by the passing of a brother - a faithful husband & dad - and a true American military hero who bravely fought for his country in Korea. May the comfort of John 14:2-3 be a comfort to his family and friends. "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. Our love and sympathy to all of you during this time of sadness. We loved seeing Mr Berry because he brought such delicious food; especially the bread pudding with his "special" sauce! God Bless You.
