Funeral services for Althea Marie Choate, 70, of Buna will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at Antioch Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will be 5:00 pm 9:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Choate passed away June 15, 2013 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
Althea was a native of Loeb and a longtime resident of Buna. She retired from the Buna ISD.
She is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Choate; grandson Cody Woods and parents Ike and Eva Hampshire.
Survivors include sons Ronnie Woods and wife Debbie, Paul Woods and wife Kenetha and David Woods and wife Laverna all of Buna; daughter Paula Dowden and husband Chris of Call; one brother; three sisters; grandchildren Kristin, Cody, Braven, Josh, Tiffany, Haley, Kristina, Brandon, Joey, Justin, Travis, Shae and Tori and eight great grandchildren.
