Funeral services for John W. Spears Jr., 56, of Silsbee will be 4:00 pm Thursday April 23, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Fred Community Cemetery.
Mr. Spears died April 21, 2015 at Tyler County Hospital in Woodville.
Mr. Spears was a native of Kountze and longtime resident of Silsbee. He was employed by David Hatton Logging where he worked as a truck driver.
John is preceded in death by his father J.W. Spears Sr.
Survivors include mother Betty Geneva Snow of Georgetown, Tx; wife Emily Husser Spears of Silsbee; son James David Dykes of Silsbee; daughter Tamela R. Porath of Silsbee; brothers Bobby Spears of Austin and Leonard Snow of Silsbee; sisters Judy Martin of Georgetown, Lynda Snow of Oklahoma; three grandchildren Robert Ferguson Jr., John Smith, Kimberly Raub; and four great grandchildren Jack Raub, Chase Raub, Mason Raub,and Zane Raub.
