Patsy Jean Aranda Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1940 - 2015 Funeral services for Patsy Jean Aranda, 75, of Spurger will be 11:00 am Thursday September 24, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Franks Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until service time on Thursday. Mrs. Aranda passed away September 20, 2015 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Patsy was born June 15, 1940 in Nacogdoches and was a longtime resident of Spurger. She was self employed where she worked with her family in a landscaping and lawn business. Patsy is preceded in death by her parents John and Erma Lee Coats Sample; husband Augustine Aranda; brother Jerry Sample; and sister Charlotte Ann Fruge. Survivors include sons Augustine Aranda II of Houston, Jesse Aranda of Houston; daughters Tracy Lynn Young of Houston, Vickie Blair of Spurger; sister Johnny Rushing of Houston; five grandchildren Gabrielle Young, August Aranda, Olivia Aranda, Draven Hutto, Skeye Hutto; two great grandchildren Paxton Hutto and Kayson Aranda. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

My memories of Pat are of her working and relaxing with Augustine in the backyard at Pecos Street in Lakeview. She wore cutoffs and sunglasses and always seemed nearly as young as we were except we knew she knew or guessed what we were up to! She was a discerning lady and mother to a great and fun group of kids. Tracy, Auggie, Jesse, Vickie, my heart is with you in this time of mourning. You were good to your mother all her days....Love, Robin

Patsy was such an inspiration to me. She always had a smile on her face no matter what she was going through. She would always take care of other's needs before her own. I will greatly miss her.
