Funeral services for James Junior White, 92, of Silsbee, will be 2:00 pm Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Silsbee with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. White passed away at his residence September 4, 2016.
He was born January 23, 1924 in Centerville, IA to Virgil and Ethel May White. He was a longtime resident of this area and worked for Northrup Airplane Maintenance as a mechanic before retiring.
Mr. White is preceded in death by his parents and son Kenneth Wayne Hamilton.
Survivors include his wife Ruby White of Silsbee; son Robert Hamilton and wife Terri of Spring; daughters Paula Houchin and husband Bud of Fred and Debbie Westerman and husband Larry of Tecumseh OK; nephew Charles White of California and niece Mereth Schwab of Washington; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
